Duotone Handshake

I fold the image until its orientation collapses. This is not repetition, but a controlled process. Each crease suggests an origin; each mirror shifts the frame. I cut the picture, letting the forms emerge so I may answer them. Echoes of past gestures linger as new patterns appear. Colour drifts. Meaning destabilizes. The surface misreads itself over time. What remains is not absence, but the substrate I began with, neutral, continuous, and unchanged in appearance.

An experimental short film investigating image behaviour through folding, collage, and surface transformation, with a score by electroacoustic and musique concrète composer Andrew Zukerman.
